The Laffly W15T was a light artillery tractor designed to tow the 25 mm anti-aircraft gun and also the 47 mm anti-tank gun, many were captured by the Germans and put into use. Alfred Becker started converting captured vehicles to be used as substitute standard equipment by the Wehrmacht, one of such conversions used the Laffly W15T truck with an armoured body installed in the chassis to convert it into an armoured personnel carrier, these vehicles were used for occupation duties in France and fought during the Normandy campaign.
