Laffly was a French truck manufacturer and is best known for its fire trucks . In the 1930s, Laffly also played an important role as a producer of non-armoured wheeled vehicles for the French army. The vehicles are particularly striking because of the protruding hood with small wheels on the nose. In accentuated terrain, this prevented the vehicle from getting stuck with its nose in the sand. The Laffly W15T was a low-profile version of the S15T. It was made by Hotchkiss. Designer Jarlang
